Anti-Discrimination and Equal Access

The Louison House has an anti-discrimination and equal access policy. The Louison House may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, gender, gender identity, LGBTQ status, or marital status, and it must call out all staff, subcontractors, and service providers who do so. In addition, the Louison House must implement training and procedures for staff to promote equity and safety. The Louison House’s coordinated entry system, which aims to provide equal access to all persons—especially those least likely to seek or receive services—complies with all applicable civil rights and fair housing regulations.

Privacy and Data Collection

The Louison House has privacy and data collection policies. Louison House only collects information that we consider to be appropriate and necessary. The collection and use of all personal information are guided by strict standards of confidentiality. A copy of our Privacy Notice describing our practices is available upon request. All information is kept confidential and access to information is only allowed to staff or interns who have clearance. Written consent is required for sharing to our HMIS data system and to any other service providers.

Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity

The Louison House complies with all the following federal laws, executive orders, and regulations pertaining to fair housing and equal opportunity:

  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • The Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 2601-3620)
  • Equal Opportunity in Housing (Executive Order 11063, as amended by Executive Order 12259)
  • Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended (42 U.S.C. 6101)
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12131; 47 U.S.C. 155, 201, 218, and 225)
  • Fair Housing Act
  • Section 504
